Life and work of the British Impressionist painter Alfred Sisley (1839-1899), who was born and worked mainly in France, known for his paintings of the River Thames and the Seine. 15pp plus 44 colour reproductions. Gilt lettering to spine. Some bumping to lower edges of boards and slight marking to top page edges, otherwise very good copy with no inscriptions. Unclipped DJ has minimal edgewear, otherwise very good. Size: 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Book.

As well as descriptions in a separate section. There is very light underling throughout the first five pages, all is legible. There are notations pencilled to the front fixed endpaper, most of which are hidden by the front flap of the dj. A single name, with related information has been penned (small) to the front free endpaper. All of that identified, the binding is square and solid, corners sharp, exterior without marks, the plates are clean.
