Bennison with full original hand-colour, dissected into 64 sections and laid onto cloth, folding between orange moiré cloth covers into contemporary brown morocco slipcase decorated in blind and gilt. With a key listing churches, dissenters chapels (Scotch, Unitarian, Baptist, Independents, New Jerusalem, Methodists, Sandemanians, Jews, Catholics), public buildings, charities, places of public amusement, news rooms and libraries. Embellished with calligraphic cartouche and compass rose. Some trivial offsetting and spotting, generally an excellent example.
