Smart ownership bookplate pasted to fep. A beautifully produced little volume. Uncut paper. Spine lightly bumped at extremities. Dustwrapper sunned and present but in two halves separated at hinge with spine at front panel. Textblock and illustrations clean tight and bright. A very nice copy indeed.

The publisher describes this book as a 'penetrating study of the famous novelist, his habits, outlook and home life'. Arnold Bennett and Marie were married between 1917-1921.
