Stated First Edition. 14 lbs 4to 11.5"; This set of three volumes is 3/4 morocco leather bound and profusely illustrated with maps and engravings, all of which are clean and bright throughout with occasional light sporadic foxing to the front matter, but much finer than any other copies I have seen. Bindings are tight and solid. Vol I front coated endpaper has some peeling but otherwise these are VG. 100's of pictures. Laid in is an unidentified period carta de visita photo of two children. 3 Volume Set. First Edition (1862) in 3/4 leather with Six Raised Bands. A litle scattered Foxing. Very Rare in this Condition.
