New York: George Braziller, 1964, first trade edition. Ivory buckram with black stamped lettering on front (by Shahn) and spine, matching black slipcase, burgundy endpapers, oblong quarto (7x9), unpaginated, illustrations in b/w and one in color. Features the elegiac poem about the assassination and funeral of President John F. Kennedy, paired with hand-lettering and illustrations. Overall condition in Very Good. Binding is square and secure. Slipcase in well-intact and sturdy, with light rubbing. Cover boards show mild age-toning and light foxing mainly to the spine and bottom edge.
