DJ in red, white, and black with some minor edgewear and the faint remains of a small sticker on the spine. No date on title page. Copyright page dated only 1971, stated Fir…st Printing. 355 pages. Clean throughout. Binding tight and neat. This copy has two inscriptions. On the half title, it is inscribed from the author to Ben Petree. Then, on the page opposite the title page it is signed from Ben Petree to Daniel Schorr, dated Sept 1971. This book was controversial when it was published; a study of news bias in the coverage of the 1968 presidential election. We haven't been able to find out who Ben Petree was, but Daniel Schorr was multiple Emmy winning journalist who was at CBS when this book came out & who would have been involved in both the coverage of the election and CBS's response to this book.
