A first edition of this scarce biography of iconic silent film star and sex symbol Rudolph Valentino. The work was published only shortly after the actor's death in 1926, and covers his life from his birth in Italy through his meteoric rise, and tragic untimely demise at the age of 31. Wrappers with some creasing an light chipping to the edges of the covers. A small horizontal closed tear near the bottom of the front cove. back cover lightly stained. Light staining along the side margins of numerous pages throughout, with text unaffected. Book block tight. Wrappers and interior in good- condition overall. Ben-Allah (aka Ben-Allah Newman, b.1893) was a writer and screenwriter. Little is known about him, but there are a number of writing credits to his name on films between 1925 and 1927. His founded the Ben-Allah Company to publish this book, and there appears to have been no other works published by the company.
