A delightful children's story about a kitten who went out to see the world and found it more alarming than he expected. Vicars Bell was a popular writer and village headmaster from England. He wrote a range of children's books and detective stories, set in rural villages, as well as other writings. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor shelf wear. Light marks to the boards. Some offsetting to the rear free endpaper and paste-down. The original clipped dust wrapper is in good condition. The front panel is bright and clear.
