'In little estimation except the impressions be good' - Lowndes. The Angus contains 40 plates only of 63, although the remaining plates would appear to have been issued subsequently to 1787. Watts' Bath and Bristol contains 12 plates, of Bath only, dated 1794 although Abbey's copy was a later issue calling for 15 plates with the date 1819. The descriptive letter press is absent. Griffith's Wales also contains 12 plates, (dated 1792) without the 4 plates issued subsequently in 1795. (192*266 mm). (ESTC T145837. N28006).
