Favourite book of Kate Winslet as a child (according to the interweb). Per Beckman (1913-1989) was a Swedish teacher and illustrator, and also produced children's book in collaboration with his wife Kaj Beckman (1913-2002). The present book is for the very young reader, and is about a doll belonging to a young girl called Mia. The book is part of the publisher's 'Oh Look!' series. The book is bound in the original laminated boards with a colour illustration on both boards. The case of the book is in very good condition with shelf wear and light soiling to the boards and bumping to the top of the spine. The contents are tight and clean with no inscription.
