Wraps. Zustand: VG+. David Stone Martin (illustrator). First US Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover with dust jacket. Original price of $4.50 is still present on the front flap. DJ shows scuffing and minor soiling along with numerous edge and corner chips and tears. Orange cloth boards underneath are clean and bright though there is some spots of white on the back board and rear hinge area. Minor corner bumps are also present. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight like the book was never read. Text pages are clean and bright but end pages show some light toning and spotting. No signatures or bookplates present, no handwriting, no library markings, no remainder marks. First US edition with the UK version being published the same year through Cassell and Company.
