Still a valuable reference on Japanese woodblock-printed maps. In total, four volumes were issued between 1951 and 1963: the list and Supplement A (each printed in 150 copies), and Supplements B and C (each printed in 100 copies). The work is essentially a catalogue of the Beans or Tall Tree Collection of Japanese woodblock maps from the Tokugawa period (ca. 1600-1867). The collection was acquired by the University of British Columbia Library in 1965.
