A tale told in rhyme about a cat, Miss Tabby Gray, and her friends. Signed inscription by Baylor on the front endpaper: "Faithfully yours, Adelaide Steele Baylor." A very scarce book, especially signed by the author. I believe the author is the same Adelaide Steele Baylor who was the first woman City Superintendent of Schools in the United States and an educational pioneer. Very Good (minor wear with small ink stain to upper portion of the spine on the rear cover; contents clean & tight). Very scarce!! $450.00.
