Contains [viii] 92 + index printed pages of Latin text with four fold-out plates to the rear and three vignettes. One of the plates is a folding map showing the Isle of Tanatis [Thanet] separated by the River Wantsumu [Wantsum]. Quarter Bound Leather. Zustand: Poor. Burghers, Michael (illustrator). Latin text. The antiquities of Richborough (Rutupinae) in Kent. There is ar four fold-out pages showing various figures containing figurs drawn by Burghers. vi+96pp. Quarter -bound in brown leather with brown cloth to remainder. Both front and rear boards are detached but present. Spine leather heavily rubbed and the leather on the boards are rubbed but less so. Previously held by the Municipal Library of Warrington with their bookplate to fixed end paper and small stamp to several pages. Preliminary pages have been heavily stained, possibly foxing to much of their pages and there is light foxing to several pages. Edition note written to top of title page.
