Wells. He also wrote extensively for the press, made records and broadcasts for the BBC on radio and on television, and was in great demand as a public speaker. This pamphlet describes Bason's amusing visit to Mrs Belloc Lowndes, author and sister of Hilaire Belloc, in order to get her autograph. Doulton & Co. Limited are referred to in the story.
