Sewel, London; Dunlop and Wilson, Glasgow; and Angus and Son; Aberdeen. 1793 first edition (the full set of 21 volumes was published between 1791 and 1799). This is a single volume only - Volume Sixth, but a scarce and interesting volume nonetheless. See photos for contents - this volume includes Edinburgh. A very good hardback with leather spine with raised bands and black and burgundy morocco labels with gilt titles. The spine has been rebacked with more recent boards covered with marble papers, and plain blank endpapers, resulting in a handsome and completely sound volume. Previous owner's pencil signature to first original blank endpaper. Some light spotting and soiling to the original blank endpapers, but text is very good - bright and clean throughout. Text in English.
