Inscribed by the dedicatee of Michael Longley's collection Harry Chambers in blue ink on the inside front cover "For Jim / (Feb 1968) / from / Harry". The distinguished editor, founder and director of the Peterloo Poets and Phoenix Pamphlets publisher, Harry Chambers was described by his friend Seamus Heaney as being one of the great "hearers and hearteners" of British and Irish poetry. A pleasing presentation copy between poets of successive generations. Seven, twelve, and nine poems by the respective authors; early work by all.
