Slight spotting and the odd smudge mark to rear wrappers of Ball, Ross, Meynell and Spence, spotting a little heavier to Spence. Fading to wrapper spines and extremities of Ross and Meynell, with the odd spot to the front wrappers. Slight signs of wrapper edgewear, with small chips to head and tail of spine of Ross, and to top edge of Ball. Fading to extremities of Ball wrapper. End papers are bright and clean to Munby and Talbot, with the odd spot to Hewett, Ross, Ball, and Meynell, lighter to Ball and a little heavier to Ross. Slight browning to fore-edges of Spence, Ross and Ball. Previous owner's bookplate to Munby. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a couple of small spots to Spence and slight age toning to extremities of Ross. Previous owner's annotations to title leaf of Ross and Ball.
