About the Author:-Balkrishna Anant Bhide was born at Kidim, Taluka Alibag, Rayagad in 1874 and died in 1929. He was a Marathi historian, poet and critic. He is mostly remembered for his outstanding contribution in the ancient history and literature and in Marathi language. He is the author of books such as -- Sarth Shri Gyaneshwari; and A Guide to the First Book of Sanskrit.
