This anti-Nazi pamphlet issued by the political left in Britain, serves as an expose of the harsh authoritarian conditions under which the people of Poland lived during the period German occupation in WWII. The publications details the oppression, violence and mass murder undleashed by the Nazis, and the activities of the Polish resistance movement. There are a number of powerful photographic reproductions of b/w images showing atrocities and persecution, including among the earliest piublished images documenting executions by the Germans. It is one of the number of international publications at the time to publish the text of the "Manifesto to the People's of the World" originally issued by the Movement of the Working Masses of Poland in February 1941, here translated into English. This publication also includes a facimilie reproduction of the original document in Polish. The foreword is by British Labour MP Philip John Noel-Baker (1889 - 1982). Wrappers with minor rubbing to extremities. Back cover with some minor smudging and stains. P.15 with ex-library ink stamps at the bottom margins, and some faint notes in pencil at the top.
