Program. Zustand: Near Fine. Folio. Unpaginated. 78.5 cm x 61 cm. Pictorial paper covers in red, printed in yellow with decorations in orange, white, purple, blue, and green. Price of $2.00 on the front cover. Heavily illustrated throughout with photographs of the circus (in color and in black and white). With a maze for children and a fold-out, "life-size" poster of Michu, who, according to this pamphlet, was the smallest man living at the time (the pamphlet states he is seven inches shorter than Tom Thumb was). The interior of each cover with a beautifully illustrated advertisement (one for Datsun, the other for pet food). A bright and colorful piece of circus ephemera, capturing the bluster and larger-than-life personality of the American circus. Also, an excellent reflection of the counterculture aesthetic in advertising. Minor wear to the covers, overall a sharp example.
