Notenblatt. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Viennese masterpieces from the late 18th century by Leopold HofmannAlthough he was by profession a church musician, holding the position of Kapellmeister at St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna from 1772 until his death 1793, Leopold Hofmann was also a prolific and successful composer of instrumental works. Zustand: New. 3 Violinen, 2 Violen, Violoncello Stimmensatz . The string quintet, like the trio for violin, viola and violoncello, was not a popular medium in Vienna in the middle decades of the 18th Century. The origin of Ignaz Pleyel's interest in the quintet is unclear and it seems more likely that Pleyel's inter.…

Zustand: New. Streichorchester Stimmensatz . The string quartet holds pride of place in Bologne de Saint-Georges instrumental works, with three sets of six works each. With neat but surely unintentional symmetry these quartets include his first and last instrumental works, the Six quatuors à cordes.

Zustand: New. Violine, Orchester Partitur . Leopold Hofmann's technical command of the instrument and his experience as a performer no doubt exerted a strong influence on his writing for the solo instrument. There is no evidence that his violin concertos were intended for his own use. Nonetheless.
