Erstausgabe
Unbound. Zustand: Very Good. First Edition. Broadside. Measuring 8?" x 14", mimeographed recto only. Two old folds, a trifle soiled, and the unprinted verso a bit tanned, very good or better. With a G.F.S. membership card (good until December 15, 1953) made out to New York publisher and bookseller George Bixby. The broadside advertises three evenings of showings: one is a memorial to the recently deceased Vsevolod Pudovkin, and the other two are titled "Evening of Controversial Films" and "Poetry in Film and as a Film Form." Showing these two nights are Kenneth Anger's *Fireworks*, Bartosch and Franz Masareel's *Idea*, "3 Abstract Film Exercises" by the Whitney Brothers, *Un Chien Andalou* by Bu?uel and Dali, May Ray's *Etoile de mer*, Francis Lee's *Le Bijou*, Gregory Markapoulos' *Psyche*, Alexeieff's *Night on a Bald Mountain*, and Curtis Harrington's *On the Edge*. A nice broadside from an important early experimental film club.
