Vienna: Anton Hartinger & Sohn, [1860s]. Nine large decorative plates, accompanied by descriptive texts on forest maintenance, bee keeping, vegetable growing, fertilizer, meadow irrigation, and growing fruit, silk and hops. The illustrations were by the Austrian romantic painter Anton Hartinger who was also the publisher. In 1859 he had founded a lithography printing shop, which published botanical works and works on agriculture and forestry. He also received the title of Royal Court chromolithographer. The plates show tools and methodology, around a central illustration with a general view of ecological activities. A fine collection of these rare pamphlets which are not recorded in any major bibliography. OCLC shows scattered holdings of the odd pamphlets.
