He has dedicated the ensuing summer to a study of the two portions of the Cleves Hours, and his painstaking reconstruction of the original sequence of the leaves, achieved by iconographic, textual, and physical analysis, has proved beyond any doubt that they once formed a single rationally organized Book of Hours.
