Contemporary mottled calf by Riss & Saucet of Moscow (with their ticket on front pastedown), smooth spine banded in gilt and centre-tooled with an eight-pointed star motif, red label, single-line blind border on sides, yellow edges, marbled endpapers. Binding just lightly rubbed at extremities, Russian library stamps to title and final page. A very good copy.
