Also includes details of the journey to the island, legends collected from the time, and Napoleon's departure. Written by Henry Drummond Wolff, an English diplomat and Conservative Party politician. Bound in full paper covered boards. Externally, sound with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light sunning to the spine and board edges. Cracks to the joints with the rear joint becoming tender and the spine lifting slightly. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot and light scattered spotting to the first and last few pages. Light age toning to the endpapers. Good. book.
