The covers show some marks and creasing commensurate with age and handling, but are relatively clean. There is some browning and foxing to the edges of the front cover. Spine intact - just slightly browned as usual with a small stain over the date on the spine. Internally near fine, with no inscriptions or other annotations. Light foxing just affecting the first couple of pages. Very slight creasing to the bottom corners of the first few pages, otherwise no creases or tears. No stains. ***A near fine copy of Volume XVI, No. 62: June 1942 of Antiquity - one of 58 separate issues we are gradually listing on ABE - in the original cream card covers. This copy is very well preserved for its age, especially being published in wartime, and crammed with interesting articles - all well illustrated.
