Walter Ernest Padley (1916 Ð 1984) was a Labour politician who was a conscientious objector during the Second World War. In 1950 he was elected Labour Party Member of Parliament for Ogmore and served until 1979. He became Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Labour Party Chairman during the 1960s. Spine of dust jacket slightly torn at head and foot and a little faded. Very good indeed very slightly used vg dust jacket. Decent copy.
