Enclosed is a typed letter to Denis from Winskill who had borrowed the book from Crowley-Milling and SIGNED 'Archie'. He has also indicated on the letter the pages in the book relevant to his story, both men appear in the index. Bestätigt, "dass ich 20 Stück Fotografien kleine Quartgröße zurückbehalten und meine Wahl danach treffen werde []". - Nach abgebrochenem Studium der Naturwissenschaften wandte sich Grosz als Schüler von Albert Zimmermann und Eduard Peithner von Lichtenfels an der Wiener Kunstakademie der Malerei zu. Er wurde mit der goldenen Füger-Medaille ausgezeichnet und unternahm Studienreisen durch Deutschland, Italien, Frankreich und Afrika. Seit 1872 war er vornehmlich mit Landschaftsmotiven und Radierungen auf Wiener Ausstellungen vertreten.
