"The Black Rose" features Power as a Saxon youth who runs away from England during the Crusades. Somehow he and his North African warlord friend (Orson Welles) make it to China, where they get involved with the court of Kubla Kahn. Nominated for an Academy Award. Set in England and the Far East, shot on location in England and Morocco.
