Printed on off white alkaline paper and bound in sewn signatures in blue cloth boards with title block stamped in gilt on spine. Missing jacket. Corners are bumped. Otherwise, a bit of shelf wear, edge wear, light soiling to boards. Gilt titling remains bright. Some spotting to fore and top edge, which is additionally dust and age discolored. A handful of the illustrated plates are loosened where the glue has dried, but remain. Pages are evenly toned to a mellow gold, with some foxing creeping into the margins of a few, but are otherwise clean and unmarked.
