At that time there were not many resources for Biblical instruction available in Farsi for the growing number of young men who were sensing a call from God to shepherd the growing number of Iranian fellowships. My thinking back then, was that we should provide as much guidance as we could to those who found themselves pastoring Farsi speaking fellowships. As time passed, we gathered these articles into booklets and began distributing them. I was greatly encouraged, by the reception that they got. It was later suggested to me, that it might be a benefit to assemble all the booklets together into one volume and make them available in both English and Farsi. Keep in mind that these booklets originated in articles that were in a compressed format to fit into a magazine thus resulting in them being short and to the point. The English version can provide a resource for non- Farsi speakers, who want to inform their Farsi speaking friends on what are the practical teachings of the Bible on many life issues. My hope is that the Farsi version will a solid Biblical resource available for those who are seeking God's wisdom for living fruitful Christian lives.
