Laid in: Thank you note from the Joffrey Ballet thanking the previous owner for their support. Richly illustrated with color and black and white photographs. Black cloth boards with gilt title to spine. Light rubbing lower dustjacket spine end. Housed in black cloth slipcase with gilt title to side. Slipcase has very light rubbing. Gerald Arpino (1923 - 2008) was an American dancer and choreographer. He was the co-founder of the Joffrey Ballet and succeeded Robert Joffrey as its artistic director in 1988 - 2008.
