Lo shock subito porta Anna a rifiutare la propria femminilità e a trasformare in vendetta privata una missione poliziesca. Photographs include three matte-finish photographs of actress Eleonora Giorgi, and one glossy photograph of director Dario Argento talking with actor Sacha Pitoëff on the set. Pressbook text in French. The second installment in Argento's "Three Mothers" trilogy, preceded by "Suspiria" (1977) and followed by "Mother of Tears" (2007). Partially derived from Thomas De Quincey's 1845 prose poetry essay collection "Suspiria de Profundis," the trilogy was inspired by De Quincey's concept of three "Ladies of Sorrow": an all-powerful triumvirate of ancient witches and Satanists.
