    Hardcover. Zustand: Good. No Dust Jacket. First Edition; First Printing. Brown cloth covers with gold lettering on spine and front cover. Boards are slightly worn and spine a bit cocked. The page edges and end papers are a bit discolored and foxed; no dust jacket. The previous owner's book sticker is glued to top of the front paste-down. The book is signed, numbered and dated by Archer (#175 Harry D. Archer Dec'71) . " Unpaginated, approximately 194 pages plus 6-page preface and acknowledgments and 12 page bibliography and appendage. Profusely illustrated from photos. This is a scarce railroad history, extensively researched and illustrated. Laid-in are: brochure, order form for the book, two signed postcards giving details on the progress of printing and releasing the book, a mimeographed notice from Archer stating that the inside of the last page is blank and that he has sent the previous owner a gummed leaf containing the two missing pictures that can be affixed to that blank leaf, and the gummed leaf with the pictures (it was never affixed to the page).
