Red cloth cover. xv+235; internally clean, tight & unmarked, top edge red, covers clean, bright and unworn, but spine just a shade faded, a few very small patches of pigment loss along joints, very slightly cocked. An interesting report on the very heated controversy with the Roman Catholic church regarding birth control, which it officially abhorred, sometimes with the most hysterical rhetoric. Marie Stopes remains quite unfazed by this of course.…

Hard back binding in publisher's original illustrated French blue cloth covers, black title and author lettering to the spine and the upper panel with cream and black illustration of a little girl and flowers to the front panel. 8vo. 6½'' x 5''. Contains 63 printed pages of text with monochrome illustrations throughout and colour illustrated frontispiece. Cheap paper browning to the margins, darkening to the spine, small rubs to the spine tips and corners, with School Prize label dated 1904 to the front paste down and in Very Good condition, no dust wrapper.
