Bound in blue cloth with lettering in black. Square and tight with little or no page toning. Some light scattered spotting to prelims only and a bit of off-setting from the jacket flaps on the end-papers. Moderate toning to spine panel. Some creasing to the spine cloth. Very attractive unclipped, though unpriced, dust jacket, (correct 7/6 price on the spine panel), has some spotting to rear panel and flaps and a short closed edge-tear that is barely noticeable. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, toning or creases. A scarce dust-jacket in any condition. A very pretty collectable copy and surprisingly uncommon, particularly in nice condition.

Art installation. Zustand: Near Fine. First Edition. Large fold-out Anthony Caro / David Pelham sculpture, issued in an edition of 500 copies (each of which is signed by Anthony Caro). Clean and Near Fine in its slate-gray boards, which, when unfolded, somewhat resemble a large, colorful pop-up. The multi-piece pop-up can then either be hung on one's wall or can comfortably rest, folded back up, in the publisher's matching slate-gray slipcase. Certainly more of an art installation than a conventional book. "A wall-mounted card sculpture".

Edition of 500. Signed and numbered in silver ink on the base of the sculpture by Caro. Quarto. This is a collaboration between the sculptor and award-winning designer and paper-engineer David Pelham with the book opening up into a wall mounted card sculpture (29.8 x 64.5 x 8.9 cm). It may be locked open and hung on a wall, displayed flat or kept as a book on a bookshelf. Original dark grey boards, titles to front cover in white. Housed in the heavy duty slipcase with locking device, titles to front cover and spine in white. A few trivial smudges, else near-fine.
