Ranmohan promises Ayla an arangetram, but what follows is a tragedy. Traumatised and disillusioned, Ayla gives up on her dreams and returns to Mardin. Destiny reunites her with Chandrashekhar years later. The ensuing journey transforms them both in fundamental ways.
