Front endpaper missing. First page of the story has a long tear that was tape mended by the prior owner and the following page has a large piece reattached to the front corner with the same tap. About 5 to 6 leaves with corners chipped or short closed edge tears. Each page features bordered text in the bottom 1/4 of the page and 3/4 top a color illustration by Pope. Really a breaker or a careful reading copy only. Fair at best.

Corners rubbed and small loss top of spine otherwise in very good bright condition. The scarce dust jacket has small loss to top of spine and is chipped at edges but otherwise complete. A book in the Tiny Tots Series.
