No Binding. Zustand: Very Good. First. A fine original colour lithograph from Vanity Fair, a magazine which was published from 1869-1914, featuring a large caricature portrait each week. These were drawn by various artists, the most famous of whom was Leslie Ward who used the 'nom de crayon' of "Spy". This portrait will come mounted/matted and ready to frame using archivist quality materials, mount size 18 x 12 inches, 47 x 31 cms. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a portrait of Mr Angle, former Rugby Union player with the Wasps, with the caption ''Jack in the Box''. Accompanied by a one page biographical sheet.

First edition. John Holden & Co., Limited, London. 1923. Hardback with dust-wrapper. Portrait frontis. + all illustrations present. Thick 8vo. Boards are very slightly faded with very slight rippling to cloth on rear board. Fore-edges lightly foxed. Endpapers are browned but pages overall are clean and sound. Wrapper is a little soiled and worn, lacking small portions from head and tail of spine, Previous owner has handwritten "Died April 1932" underneath author's name to front cover.
