From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wi…sconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. Andy Devine appeared in over 170 films from 1926 until his death in 1977. Best known for his roles in westerns, he played Roy Rogers sidekick Cookie in ten feature films, as well as appearing in "A Star Is Born" (1937), "Stagecoach" (1939), "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence" (1962), "How the West Was Won" (1962), and voiced Friar Tuck in Disney's "Robin Hood" (1973). 8 x 10 inches.
