Das Vorliegen einer Zirrhose ist als erhöhtes Risiko für ein hepatozelluläres Karzinom (HCC) an…erkannt, und ihr Auftreten steht in direktem Zusammenhang mit dem Grad der Leberfibrose. In den letzten zehn Jahren wurden Methoden zur Vorhersage des Grades der Fibrose und Zirrhose durch nicht-invasive Verfahren entwickelt und verbessert, mit dem Ziel, die Leberbiopsie zu ersetzen. Die Patienten auf der Warteliste für eine Lebertransplantation weisen unterschiedliche Grade der Leberfibrose auf, die möglicherweise nicht direkt mit dem MELD-Score zusammenhängen. Darüber hinaus leiden diese Patienten zum Zeitpunkt der Screening-Untersuchung für eine Lebertransplantation an HCC. Eine Beurteilung dieser Population mittels Elastographie liegt nicht vor. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, Patienten, die für eine Lebertransplantation in Frage kommen, mit und ohne hepatozellulärem Karzinom mittels Leberelastographie mit Fibroscan® und ARFI zu untersuchen. Die Elastographie ist ein wichtiges nicht-invasives Instrument zur Überwachung von Patienten mit schwerer Zirrhose und kann bei der Behandlung von hepatozellulärem Karzinom hilfreich sein.
