Rare magazine directed by the great Ecuadorian writer Andrade Coello Alejandro that unfortunately only existed for one year, written almost entirely by its director and some collaborators who signed with pseudonyms such as Donde Charpentier, Don Fermin, Dona Rebeca, among others. The director was a writer and educator from Quito born in 1875, son of Mr. Miguel Andrade Freire and Mrs. Amalia Coello. He did his first studies in his hometown and later traveled to Santiago de Chile where he obtained his high school degree. He was an academic of Cuba and Cadiz, member of the Ateneo de El Salvador and professor of literature -for many years- at the Colegio Nacional Mejía, in Quito. He wrote and published more than fifty works, with titles such as: "Notions of General Literature", "The Way of the Cross of the Orator", "The Law of Progress", "The Titan of Tragedy", "Some Ideas About Education", "Centenaries and Millenaries", "The Isolation of Genius", "Intellectual Ecuador", "Rodó", "Federico González Suárez", "Juana de Ibarborou" and many more. He dedicated his entire life to writing and teaching, and committed to these noble activities, he died in his hometown, Quito, on November 13, 1943. W32. Firmado por el autor.…
