In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Fair. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Poor. 1st Edition. Complete. NOTE: 'Gay' in this book is of the old fashioned meaning and not the newer homosexual meaning. Nonetheless this is a wonderful, enthusiastically racy book! The flesh pots of Paris are lovingly and affectionately photographed and written about. Every delight is savoured and recorded from Stephane Grapelli at the Club St-Germain-des-Pres to Linda Romeo of the Crazy Horse Saloon (who not only sheds her clothes with elegant ease but can also pilot a plane), from Marcel Pagnol engaging Olivier in conversation to pouting, posing Sidonie Patin (who is only eighteen). An exciting book of another era. The dustjacket is much worn and torn but still conveys the glamour within. The cover is stained and worn from storage but sure and strong. Inside, the contents are in very good condition throughout. The pages are fresh, welcoming, happy, glamorous, clean, clear and joyous. fk.
