Little Britain, July 27, 1803, (290 x 230 mm), frayed where untrimmed at edges, closed marginal tear (<200 mm), very good. Scarce rousing broadside against Napoleon's intended invasion of England, for which he amassed troops and barges at Boulogne but which never materialised thanks to Royal Naval blockades. The Old Whig here exhorts all lovers of British liberty to put aside internal division and prejudices: 'Be ready with your Bayonet for the first Hostile Foot upon your Shore'. In this variant line 4 ends 'to victory', in another it ends 'to Vic-'.
