First Edition. 28.5 x 21cm. Paperback magazines, 32pp, 37pp, 36pp. Four issues of this culture and political magazine (there are two copies of issue one) spanning 1992 to 1993. Articles by Bob Boyton, James Kelman, a small comic strip by the surreal writer Frank Key entitled 'The Hooting Yard Punnet: An Inventory of its Contents [Part One]', a centre-spread forming a condom-based photographic artwork by Yong Soon Min and Allan deSouza, and much more in issues five and six - contributions by poets Jeremy Reed, John Hegley, artist Christo Javacheff, author Ellis Sharp, Melanie Rae Thon, etc. Loosely inserted in issue one is a flyer mock-up of The Guardian newspaper (retitled 'The Turkey') and an unopened red envelope containing an unknown number of smaller printed items ("Casablanca Limited Editions: The Good, The Bag and the Ugly"). Bibliographic information indicates this issue number one was preceded by an issue zero - the inaugural issue was said to be commissioned by Tariq Ali and Richard Gott. (ref: 168).
