Victory not only rested on the young men and women around the world, but the women of the United States also played a role. So much was taken for the troops and ration books kept a check on how much went to families. Women got creative and Ms. Alice B. Winn-Smith helped out. Very cool! This copy is in very good condition but it does not have a jacket.

Light soiling to boards, ink smudge bottom of spine and fading, previous owner bookplate inside front board, rub to corner of free front endpaper. Very good.

In the original publisher's cloth bindings and dust wrapper. Externally, smart. There is bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. The spine of the second series is slightly worn. The hinges are starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some occasional spotting. Good. book.
