This work has a series of articles on varying sporting activities in addition to serialisations of novels on the subject of sports. Volume I : August-December 1895 Volume V: July to December 1897 Volume VI: January to June 1898 Volume VII: July to December 1898 Volume VIII: January to June 1899 Volume IX: July-December 1899 Volume X: January to June 1900 Volume XV: July to December 1902 Volume XVI: January to June 1903 Volume XVII: July to December 1903 There are articles on hunting, fishing and lawn tennis. All volumes are illustrated throughout with numerous photographs and drawings. The twentieth century editions of the magazine also begin to feature coloured photographs. This set also includes the serialisation of the novel 'Some Experiences of an Irish R.M' by Violet Florence Martin and Edith Anna Oenone Somerville.
