Ink inscription to the front end paper dated 1910 with darkened related newspaper cuttings pasted inside the front of the binding (see photo). Pages clean and clear, abundantly illustrated including coloured plates. An obviously used book, clearly precious to the previous owner.

In good condition, with slight creasing and discoloration at foot. He is sending a receipt for Hill-Trevor's 'entrance fee and subscription to this Society', and discusses subscription matters. Head's letter: 2pp., 12mo. Very good, on lightly-aged paper. The letter begins: 'Dear Sir, | You were duly elected at our last Meeting and on the following day I sent to you at 25 Belgrave Square [address of 'George Hill'] a notification of its [sic] fact together with a copy of the Rules and a Card of the dates of Meetings.' He asks Hill whether he would like to give another address, for printing in the list of members in the 'Numismatic Chronicle'.
